ADV Films Out of Business!

It was announced this morning on Anime News Network that big time anime company ADV Films has officially closed down it’s doors today and transferred all of its assets to several other companies including AEsir Holdings, SXION 23, Valkyrie Media Partners, Seraphim Studios.

You can read the full news post about this HERE.

The company has been having problems for a long tome so I’m not surprised that they finally got put out of their misery. Maybe I can get Saiyuki DVDs on sale now. 😛

Well…one thing is for sure…I won’t be emailing Chris Oarr anymore for ADV Screening permissions. Funny that they mentioned him in that article. Thank goodness for FUNimation and Bandai. There is still hope yet for the anime world.

  1. how did u changed the main picture, that was at the template?

  2. this is very sad news!

    • I know! This is very sad news but I’m sorry to say not at all surprising. ADV has been having a lot of problems lately and they have refused to keep up for the demand to watch anime on places like Youtube unlike Bandai and Funimation.

I wish them the best though.

  3. oh no, NO WAY!
their best was BLUE SEED, I’ll always remember u ADV Films 😦
