Cosplay: The Documentry

Part of running a good anime convention is not just about striving to make your convention the best, or trying to give a good time to the people in your little area the convention is located. It’s about expanding the love for anime, manga, cosplay and Japanese culture worldwide. So then, not only does it benefit the convention but also the community. That is why I would like a to give a shout out to the people at WorldCosplay on DeviantArt, who are putting in a lot of time and effort to make the film Cosplay: The Documentary.

Don’t be mistaken. This just isn’t a group of kids with a hand held camera in their backyard. This is a serious project, with film crews, photographers, flights to location and professional equipment. Because they have yet to have a Sponsor to completely step forward to fund the project, a donation pool has been set up to help move forward this wonderful endeavor and I told them I would be more then happy to pitch them here on the ASG Blog.

You can find their official blog post HERE on DeviantArt. On that blog post you will also find the link to their PayPal Donation Page.

I wish them the best on their project and perhaps they will come someday and visit us at Anime St. George Convention. 🙂
